UNC will win NCAA championship for '09-'10 season

You heard it here first, the Tar heels will repeat as national champions of college basketball. I know it is early to claim this and I am skipping over football season but, I have a good reason to state this. I know Carolina lost a lot of their key players from last season and they will be hard to replace. But the guys that are coming in are phenomenal; don't believe me just check out this clip of the newbies in the NC pro am. http://northcarolina.scout.com/a.z?s=78&p=2&c=879451
John Henson is a beast, swatting away any player that dares come inside and Dexter Strickland is showing Carolina fans the reason Roy didn't recruit John Wall. I mean this guy is a fantastic finisher and a great passer. Looks like a hybrid of Raymond Felton and Wayne Ellington. And lets not forget about the guys that are coming back: Davis, Thompson, Ginyard, Drew II and so on. But I think you get the point.
And for all you naysayers, I know you're thinking that the talent at the pro am isn't the likes of what they will face during ACC season and the NCAA tourney but they have been facing some tough competition. From the likes of Kyle Singler, the Plumlees', just to name a few. So get ready all you ABCers for another long season of Tar heel domination.

Introduction

I thought before I began blogging, I would introduce myself and a little about the name of my particular blog. Carolina homer; what does it mean, well lets break it down. We will start with homer, and I don't mean the yellow guy that is always choking his son and yelling d'oh, and it isn't about the 9Th century B.C. Greek poet and it is definitely not about those things that Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire hit with the help of a few injections. I could continue and tell you what it isn't but I will spare you and let you know that this "homer" is a sports fan that doesn't ever see any fault with his HOME team. And that is me. Whether it's the Carolina Panthers, the Tar heels or the Charlotte Bobcats, I am a complete and utter homer.
Now if you haven't figured out where the Carolina part of the title comes in, then I will tell you. I love my (North) Carolina sports teams. So that is a little about this blogger and I hope you enjoy my biased reports on my teams and any other story I feel like discussing. And away we go.
